The fight to save Medicaid is just beginning. Members of Congress are still considering repeal of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) with massive cuts to the Medicaid program. As Congress returns to Washington, D.C. this week, tell them not to repeal the ACA and to protect the Medicaid program.
Call your US Representative TODAY and tell them not to cut Medicaid. Remember that the NOW, Comp, ICWP, SOURCE, CCSP, and GAP Waiver are all forms of Medicaid here in Georgia.
The most effective way to get your message across is to share your story about the importance of the ACA and why Medicaid matters to you. Telling your story will help personalize the issue and is an effective way to protect Medicaid.

Ethan Saylor: Down Syndrome Maryland law enforcement workers need more guidance in dealing with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, according to a commission formed after a man with Down syndrome died in a struggle with Frederick County sheriff's deputies.     Gov. Martin O'Malley created the Commission for Effective Community Inclusion of Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in September after Robert "Ethan" Saylor, 26, died Jan. 12 when deputies attempted to remove him from a Frederick movie theater.
