Addiction and Unemployment The Health Care Bill 2017 passed by the house has failed the Americans with Disabilities with or without mental health needs. One of the major themes of the 2016 presidential election was employment. The issue of high unemployment in certain areas of the country rose to national prominence and President Trump promised to bring jobs to these communities. Various causes were cited for unemployment, including globalization, trade agreements, technology, and regulations. Members of Congress are still considering repeal of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) with massive cuts to the Medicaid program. As Congress returns to Washington, D.C. this week, tell them not to repeal the ACA and to protect the Medicaid program. Call your US Representative TODAY and tell them not to cut Medicaid. Remember that the NOW, Comp, ICWP, SOURCE, CCSP, and GAP Waiver are all forms of Medicaid here in Georgia.
